Day of Service in Danville

Randee Brown, our committee chair for Stewardship Volunteer Service Projects, sent in the following report on the recent Day of Service in Danville...

In recognition of MLK day, these volunteers, all recent SWP grads, got together for  cleanup along the Main Street (south side) section of the Riverwalk in Danville VA in the revitalized River District. We pulled about 100 pounds of cans, bottles, a tent, fishing line, and other trash from along the Half mile section.

Check your emails for details on the next opportunity for a group Stewardship project in February.  We hope to see you there!!!
