Tap-tap. tap-tap-tap.... This female Cardinal is either trying to get my attention or is defending her territory from her own reflection. I've had bluebirds endlessly do the same thing. A Titmouse or a Carolina wren will stop by and look in the window from time to time, but I think they are hoping I'll top off the peanuts in the feeder. They don't tap on the glass.
