I have seen a lot of bird action at the pond this year. Many thirsty birds lime up daily and there has been an occasional bath. Today, there was a new visitor. This handsome snake slithered up, took a nice long drink, then headed off to do what ever a snake does on a warm sunny day. I think it is a Northern Black Racer.
