Curious Findings

 Members did not disappoint this week!

Mary Foster found and identified a Tersa sphinx moth (Xylophanes tersa) on her day lilies.

Mary also found a stunning Tiger Moth! We think this is the Parthenice Tiger Moth (Apantesis parthenice).  https://www.insectidentification.org/insect-description.php?identification=Parthenice-Tiger-Moth

 My brother (not a Master Naturalist, but with a keen eye for the curious) sent me this photo of a Pandorus Sphinx Moth (Eumorpha pandorus).
